Thursday, February 17th – B.Y.O.V. (Bring Your Own Vinyl Night)
The Crown, 1910 N. Charles St. at 8:00 PM – FREE
Bring your favorite wax and the DJ will spin it in The Crown’s Blue Room on Thursday night. For those in for a more rowdy night, tonight (Tuesday) is Karaoke in the Blue Room. Visiting The Crown twice in one week is never a bad decision.

Friday, February 18th – Wing Dam / Boy Spit / Small Apartments / See Gulls
Metro Gallery, 1700 N. Charles St. at 8:00 PM – $8
I may be wrong, but I think this is Wing Dam’s first headlining show in Baltimore. After a short tour with Future Islands, they’re back in Baltimore before they head out on the road for some more dates. See them before they outgrow the small spaces, I have a feeling it won’t be long.

Saturday, February 19th – Paul Rucker / Jana Hunter / Chiffon
Creative Alliance, 3134 Eastern Ave. at 8:00 PM – FREE
Paul Rucker is an amazing musician and visual artist who I’ve had the great pleasure of getting to know over the past couple years. His art addresses a wide range of topics including the prison industrial complex. He performs at 8:00 in the gallery and Chiffon and Jana Hunter start at 8:30. Hunter is the lead singer and songwriter of rock band, Lower Dens. This show is free and it’s a great opportunity to get to Creative Alliance to see all the great work of the resident artists.
