Joy Ike plays a nice blend of soul and pop akin to Regina Spektor or Fiona Apple. Ruut and LEA are both tremendous songwriters as well, so get your tickets in advance.

Thursday, July 17th – Roomrunner / Fight Amp / Kowloon Walled City / Hive Bent
Metro Gallery, 1700 North Charles St. at 8:00 PM – $10 (ticketfly)
Roomrunner are legendary so go see them at Metro Gallery for a VERY modest ten bucks. They’re noisy, they’re fun and they’re a Baltimore staple.

- Friday/Saturday, July 18th/19th – Station North Stage at Artscape
The 1800 block of Charles St. (Charles at North Ave) 12:00PM – 9:00PM, FREE
This year’s Station North Stage for Artscape (usually my favorite stage every year) is filled with a diverse mix of artists including Bosley, The Deaf Scene and Small Apartments. Start your weekend early on Thursday with Roomrunner and then hangout around North Ave for Artscape on Friday and Saturday. Stop by the GBCA tent on Mount Royal on Sunday (or any day, really) to celebrate the launch of Culture Fly AND to check out member supported performances and programs.
