MFA Exhibition Peter Eide: (_/content) and  Ursula West Minervini: GUTA YAWA TATA

Holtzman MFA Art Gallery, CA 2040 Center for the Arts, Towson University
Opening Reception: Thursday, November 14 from 7:30 – 9 pm
Event Runs Nov 15 – Dec 14.

Exhibition of MFA candidate’s work in partial requirement for graduation. Eide is interested in the discussion of aesthetics through the practice of drawing, quickly producing bodies of work that cross pollinate with one another. His work engages two and three-dimensional surfaces through which the artist explores narrative content in both figurative and abstract form.

Exhibition of MFA candidate’s work in partial requirement for graduation. Minervini crafts prints that use text and images to explore evolution, translation and random or absurd cause and effect. Her process is frequently modeled on Surrealist games such as the Exquisite Corpse. Using rules or systems in combination with free association and chance, Minervini generates evocative images.

Gallery Hours: Tues. – Sat., 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. (Closed: Tues., Nov. 26 – Mon., Dec. 2). More info here.
