Studio intensive, advanced solar etching and encaustic workshop with Soledad Salamé.
Artist Soledad Salamé continues to host a series of printmaking workshops for small groups of artists in her Reservoir Hill studio. The focus of this course will be on solar etching on to Japanese paper for encaustic wax processes.

Day 1: Exposing images on solar plates (production) and printing solar etchings on Rives BFK (black and white)
Day 2: All day printing with multiple techniques (color)
Day 3: Printing on Japanese paper, encaustic, watercolors
An Artist and Printmaker for 30 years, Soledad Salamé’s work will be on view at the International Print Center in New York November 4th- January 7th, 2012, opening reception November 3rd 6-9.
