University of Maryland, College Park

Each year, The Art Gallery and the Department of Art at the University of Maryland, College Park, co-host an exhibition of artwork created by graduate students who are candidates for the Master of Fine Arts degree. The variety of materials and approaches adopted by the candidates create an exciting and confident collection of work. These artists move seamlessly between styles and approaches to explore the boundaries of their talent while creating new and innovative work. This year, five emerging artists are featured: Jack Henry, Joseph Hoffman, Timothy Horjus, Sarah Laing, and Stewart Watson.
