Metroscape Development Dedicates Sculpture in Historic Hampden Community – Local artist’s work will remain on display at Stone Hill Walk

How will they keep appreciative Hamdon-ites from grafitti-ing it?? I hope that is part of the plan.

On Saturday, September 27, Metroscape Development president Patricia Massey dedicated a piece of work by Baltimore artist Anthony Walker to display at the Stone Hill Walk community. Massey is an art enthusiast, and shows her support of Baltimore’s arts by donating a piece of work to display in each community that she develops.

Walker is a Johns Hopkins Hospital surgical nurse with no artistic training, but a continued aspiration to sculpt. When traditional attempts failed, Walker turned to his surgical roots, utilizing medical tools that would traditionally be used to shave and shape bone.

Where: Stone Hill Walk
