Opening of Fritz Haeg’s Baltimore Edible Estate

In the early Spring, Fritz Haeg removed the front lawn belonging to a Baltimore family, initiating one of his Edible Estates gardening projects. With the help of dozens of Contemporary Museum volunteers from all over the city, we have transformed a previously unproductive front yard into a garden of edible plants.

Lisa Anne Auerbach’s Tract House “Grand Opening” – 123 West Saratoga Street, Baltimore, MD 21201
Just down the street from the Contemporary Museum, Lisa Anne Auerbach has created The Tract House in a small storefront space. Come meet Lisa and be the first to visit and peruse dozens of lifestyle tracts created just for you!
Cottage Industry features six artists/enterprises whose artistic output involves the creation of innovative and conceptually engaging business and cultural ventures, both actual and pseudo. With an entrepreneurial spirit, the artists in Cottage Industry combine commercial and personal interests as diverse as biking, knitting, horticulture, architecture, shop-keeping, and even museum management with a variety of artistic media and conceptual goals.
