QUEASY: THE ART OF JOHN MALLOY
Featuring live music by:
The Hymnen [CD Release!] The Oranges Band Impossible Hair

Artist, illustrator, and designer John Malloy was born in rural Pennsylvania, and began drawing cartoons and rock stars at age six. After a background in fine art and years of self-education, he created his first graphic novel, “Amnesia” [2001 NBM Publishing]. The book was set in Baltimore and combined pen & ink, painting, and digital media.

Since then his illustrations have appeared in publications such as BPM, Dazed and Confused, and most recently, Lemon Magazine, in which he illustrated comic-styled interviews with Billy Corgan of the Smashing Pumpkins and Pop Levi. He currently lives in Baltimore and is working on three other comics projects.

In his first exhibit at the GSpot since the release of “Amnesia”, he will be showcasing original work and prints of his illustrations and comics. Both “Amnesia” and Lemon Magazine are available at Atomic Books.
