“Suburbia Redefined: Intersections of Urban and Rural” is the Inaugural Exhibit of the Towson ARTS Collective.

Thirty-two artists were chosen by jurors, Connie Imboden, Photographer and Gary Kachadourian, Artist / BOPA administrator. Images of suburbia and suburbanites range from abstract to literal, created in a variety of media. These works of art
may reveal the character of suburbia and how urbanity has transformed the surrounding rural areas.

The reception is 6-9pm on Friday, May 4. Richard Dorsey’s jazz quartet will play during the reception. The exhibit will continue to be open during the weekend of the Towsontown Festival, May 5 and 6, and end July 22, the weekend of Artscape.

The following artists are included in this exhibit:

Myles Ashby, Sara Baicich, Jennifer Becker, Rachel Bone, Jessica Bottalico, Rams Brisueño, Anne Chan, Schroeder Cherry, Jim Condron, Ann Everton, Ann Ewaskio, Rachel Faller, Peter Fillat Architects, Mike Geno, Craig Graceffo, Dana Hargrove, Chris Heard, Leslie Hirst, Sydney Hopkins, Erika Jaeggli, Matt Klos, Gray Lyons, Sandra Parra, Ruth Pettus, Buffy Redsecker, Michael Robinson, Jerrry Seaton, Lexy Singer, Zachary Thornton, Alessandro Valente, Jessica Weglein, and Linda Wilson.

TAC seeks to promote the growth of greater Towson’s art community by combining the knowledge and energy of its residents and students with working professionals. Towson ARTS Collective is located on the Lower Level of 410 York Rd., Towson, Maryland 21204.
