GINA BEAVERS – LE SIGH
Nudashank is please to present Le Sigh, a solo exhibition of new paintings by Gina Beavers. Beavers’ paintings reside somewhere between surrealism and abstraction. Glimpses of real life are isolated for their humor, intuitively and intentionally clipped and transformed through techniques borrowed from sculpture and design as well as painting.
Gina Beavers lives and works in Brooklyn, NY. She received an MFA from School of the Art Institute of Chicago and her BA from UVA. Recent exhibitions include a solo show at PACS Gallery (Brooklyn) and group shows “Go Figure!” at Dodge Gallery (NYC) and “The Death of Affect” at ART BLOG ART BLOG (NYC).
