(e)merge Interview 1: Enno Wallis, CEO of Polarraum

The 2014 Transmodern Festival’s Twilight Parade kicked off on Sunday, September 21 to celebrate the fall Equinox. It started in Current Gallery’s Backlot at 7pm and moved to EMP Collective. The parade featured Fluid Movement, the Barrage Band Orchestra, illuminated floats by Dan Van Allen, and lanterns, hoopers, and stinters.

Earlier that day, participants could engage in lantern making with Laure Drogoul, mask and headdress building with Valeska Populoh, and float-building. You could also bring a musical instrument or sound maker to make music with Gamalamadingdong (Justin Miller and Ryan Smith), participate in audio walking tours with Anna R-g and Ruby Fulton, Movement workshops with Alexander D’Agostino and Noelle Tolbert, Glitterization and Glamorizing with Fluid Movement, and yoga with Brian Daniloski.
