Thursday, July 24th – Bonneau Caprece and WEAA 88.9FM Jazz at the Walters
Walters Art Museum, 600 North Charles St. at 6:00 PM – $25 (tickets)
Feeling jazzy? Well this Thursday evening at The Walters is perfect for you. This concert, part of the Bonneau Caprece Series, will feature the music of Bmore jazz icon, Carlos Johnson. Perhaps a late dinner at Sascha’s is in order immediately following the performance?

- Friday, July 25th – Surf Harp / Sun Club / Hang Men
The Holy Underground, 2021 Maryland Ave at 8:30PM
Add Dungeon Kids to this bill and you’d have my three favorite Baltimore bands. Surf Harp and Sun Club both play pop music, but from two very different lenses. This show is a must-see, especially if you’ve never been to the DIY space, The Holy Underground. Stop in to The Beatnik for a cocktail beforehand, which is just half-a-block up the street.

Saturday, July 26th – Charm City Ukelele Festival
Creative Alliance, 3134 Eastern Ave. 7:30 PM – $17, $14 for members
This festival, which runs from 3 to 5PM, includes a beginner lesson from Jared Denhard. You got to give to Creative Alliance for always bringing unique and diverse music to Baltimore. Have you ever been to a Ukelele festival before? Didn’t think so.
