Tuesday, June 17th – Out of Your Head – Improvised Experimental Music Collective
Windup Space, 12 W. North Ave. at 9:30 PM – FREE
Free shows are usually always good shows, but when it’s the Out of Your Head collective then it’s always stellar. A rotating cast of improvisational musicians playing a blend of free jazz and experimental noise makes for a unique experience every time you see it. There isn’t a place in Baltimore that supports a wider range of musical styles than the Windup Space.

Tuesday, June 17th – Chiffon / Co La / Thug Entrancer
The Crown, 1910 N. Charles St. (2nd floor), 8:30PM – $8
Chiffon are a pop-experimental duo, made up of the former noise band, INEVERYROOM, who picked up some buzz a few years back. I had a chance to see them play the Talking Head (RIP). Chiffon is a bit dreamier, but great nonetheless.

- Saturday, June 21st – The Revelers – Black Pot Dance Party
Creative Alliance, 3134 Eastern Ave., 8:00PM – $15, $13 for members
Expect an old-fashioned hootenany on Saturday at Creative Alliance when The Revelers perform their old-timey cajun folk music. The bayou will be alive and well in Highlandtown that night.
