Current is a great store-front space on Calvert Street in downtown Baltimore. It is located about a block from the Inner Harbor. You’ve probably driven past this space a hundred times and never noticed. Next time, park and stop in. It’s a colorful and graphically beautiful show.

Above, another large dyed silk painting by Emily Nachison. This was the image on the invite, but I had no idea how huge it would be. Alex Ebstein received these silk panels in tightly wrapped bundles, so she had a LOT of fun getting to know her iron this past week. These insta-murals were glowing off the walls. Below it, Christine Tillman’s wooden log sculptures fill the front corner.
