Out of Order Auction & Gala: 8pm, Friday, April 3, 2009
Hanging Dates & Times: 24 non-stop hours beginning 9am, Wednesday, April 1, 2009.
Out of Order will feature original artwork created by hundreds of area artists that will be made available for purchase through a silent auction. Guests will mingle with some of the region’s most interesting artists, collectors and art enthusiasts while enjoying a selection of snacks, music and an open beer and wine bar. Last year, 425 artists participated in Out of Order and several hundred guests attended, making it one of Baltimore’s most important and memorable art events!
Proceeds from artwork sales will be split 50/50 between MAP and the artists and will directly support MAP’s exhibitions and programs throughout the year.

Current MAP members need only call to reserve their complimentary tickets. If you are not already a MAP member, or merely need to renew your membership, please call the number below. Membership entitles individuals to a year of incredible incentives, plus two complimentary tickets to the event (an $80 value). No tickets will be sent; names will be held at the door.
Are you an artist?
ALL Artists are invited to install one original work of art in MAP’s galleries during a non-stop twenty-four hour installation, beginning 9 am, Wednesday, April 1st. For submission guidelines, please view the artist prospectus below. Individuals volunteering for any three-hour shift during the twenty-four hour installation will also be entitled to free admission.
