Bringing the Fun: Outdoor Sculpture from Art Basel

Pulse Miami Beach in photos by Cara Ober and Stewart Watson

We’ll let you guess which ones were hits and misses.

“Founded in 2005, PULSE Contemporary Art Fair is an established part of the annual art calendar with editions in New York and Miami Beach. The fair is recognized for providing its international community of emerging and established galleries with a dynamic platform for connecting with a global audience. PULSE offers visitors an engaging environment in which to discover and collect the most compelling contemporary art being produced today. PULSE Miami Beach welcomes galleries from three continents, with over 85% presenting three artists or fewer.”

The floor? It had a completely different (less good) feel. Why?12307329_10207655699340858_5009940160951529140_o“Your 15 Minutes of FA Are About to Expire.”IMG_5524Sweet paintings on paper by our friend Sharon Louden at Patrick HeideIMG_5347I always love a William Powhida, especially in person… at Gallery Poulsen from DenmarkIMG_5349This piece is the opposite of a bunch of other works at Basel!
