Jordan Faye Contemporary is pleased to present Baltimore-based artist Jenee Mateer’s fourth solo exhibition, The Sky is Lemonlime. This exhibition contains 14 large-scale works from The Sky is Lemonlime series. This exhibition will hang in the West Gallery and is on view from January 24 – March 7, 2015.

Jordan Faye Contemporary & THRIVE are thrilled to host our first juried exhibition in our east gallery, PARAMETERS. Artists were asked to consider three concepts when applying for this exhibition: structure, boundary, & colorfield – after much deliberation the jurors selected 15 artists from Fairfax, VA, Washington DC, & the greater Baltimore metropolitan area.

The artists of PARAMETERS include Jessica Van Brakle, Geraldine Bullock, Jayson Carter, Caitlin Curtis, Emily Dierkes, Maureen Farrell, Piper Grosswendt, Steven Hargrove, Jay Hendrick, Jeffrey Cortland Jones, Leonard Kogan, Cathy Leaycraft, Christopher Owen, Cat Mayes, Gregory Molnar, and Bridget Z Sullivan.This exhibition will hang in the East Gallery and is on view from January 31 – March 7, 2015. The Opening Reception is Saturday January 31, 2015, 7 – 10p. The gallery is open Tuesday through Thursday from 12 – 6pm and Saturday from 12 – 5pm.

The jurors for this exhibition were Willa Frazer, Jim Doran, Donald Edwards, Jenee Mateer & Mark Holdrege and we thank them for their time in selecting these artists and their intriguing and dynamic work.
