On Thursday, May 23, BmoreArt hosted a release party for Issue 07: Body at The Parkway Theatre, one of Baltimore’s architectural gems. The newest magazine is an exploration of Baltimore (and DC-based) artists who depict and represent the body, who nourish it in their work, who use it as art medium and concept, and offer new patterns of thought around the politics, benefits, ethics, and limitations of having a body in 2019.

Dress code was Old Hollywood Glam and Baltimore brought the glitter, the gowns, and the creative and elegant style that we have come to expect. Many thanks to The Parkway, Pixilated Photo Booth, Wormhole Tintype Workshop, our team of volunteers, and to all who came out to celebrate Baltimore’s artists and this publication.
